Pre-orders have opened for the print edition of the first volume of I Wish I Knew How to Quit You (总有老师要请家长, pinyin: zong you laoshi yao qing jiazhang) by Jing Wu (璟梧), a contemporary romance between a teacher and the mother of one of her students which develops following a one-night stand. This is a mainland Chinese edition, so will be published in simplified Chinese and will be censored. As usual, pre-orders can be made via a selection of bookshops on Taobao and TMall, including the following:
A note on the title translation: I Wish I Knew How to Quit You is the 'official' English title given in the uncensored print edition of the novel by Hong Kong publisher Wutong. My own preferred title translation is Last Night at the PTA Conference. The manhua fan translation has elected to go with the painfully literal There Are Always Teachers Who Want to Ask out Parents.
