I, too, am not going in fully blind, though the difference is that I only reached the midway point of season 2. Can't speak on Lin Yan's nightmare, but as for her entrance, it reminds me of a K-drama male lead from a chaebol family: unlikable personality and extremely rich. I want to assume the story is, in part, boosted by the audio drama, which was presumably licensed since Miss Forensics makes for a good dramatic story. It also covers the largest flaw presented in the story: Jiu Nuan Chun Shen's prose.
